CCWM

After my first acquaintance with Apostle Fred Stapleton, I was impressed with his ability to make friends with anyone. His love for humanity is great, so understandably, it had to be shared with the world. CCWM has been his vehicle for years and has touched thousands of lives, including mine. Many have been saved and healed by the power of God. This so impressed me that I joined his missionary team on two trips to Africa, and these trips, along with many speaking engagements on which I joined him, rekindled the fire of God in my life. I would recommend anyone who is searching for a good church to attend Cornerstone Covenant Church and the Cornerstone Covenant World Missions Ministries in Hudson, N.C. CCWM will change your life and set it in the right direction. My wife and I love Apostle Fred and his wife Connie so much, and you will also.

Thank God for all the awesome mission trips with Apostle Fred and Connie Stapleton since 2017. One of many great memories is when we went to an orphanage in Kenya, Africa. We gave all the boys and girls shoes. But we needed one more pair of shoes. Bro. Lynch told us the offering we received in a church that morning would be enough in African money to buy one more pair of shoes. We were so excited. God had provided for every child in the orphanage. Praise God for Apostle Fred and Connie obeying the Lord and touching lives all over the world.

I always had a stirring in my heart to be a part of missions. I was so thankful when the Lord called me to go to Haiti in 2015. That trip changed my life forever. I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I thought I was going to bless others and tell them about Jesus. I had the honor to tell an 80-year-old man about a Savior who loved him so much that He died for his sins, conquered death, rose from the grave, and made a way for us to be with Him together forever in heaven. I was honored to tell him about the one true God, the one that would never leave him or forsake him, whatever the circumstances. I’m forever thankful that he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart as his Savior! That was the first person I led to Christ. The Lord worked in mighty ways on that trip. I got to meet people that I now call family. I’ve had the honor to watch some of them graduate, get married, and now have children. The Haitian people are so resilient! I thought I was going to bless them, but in fact, they were the ones who blessed me. I was able to go on two more trips to Haiti. God showed me and taught me many things on those trips. I’m thankful for Apostle Fred for teaching me during those trips. I’m also thankful for my sister, Ashley Tallent. On the first trip I went on, she taught me so much about how to be mindful of those around me. Like “put away your water bottle for now; some of them may not have had a drink for hours or even a day”. That was something I usually wouldn’t have thought of. As an American, I’m blessed to turn a knob and have water instantly. As Haitians, some of them walk for miles and carry water in buckets on their heads. They can have nothing of their own and be worried about what you need instead of their own needs. I love them and miss them so much. Haiti is the only country I’ve had the honor to visit, but I know the Lord has more in store for me to do for Him! CCWM is a worthy cause to donate to. You don’t have to worry about where the money will go. Every single item and monetary donation goes to those in need! It’s never used for personal gain. I’m so thankful for Apostle Fred and Sister Connie. I’m thankful for the sacrifices they have made and the example they set for us!

Apostle Fred Stapleton has made a tremendous impact on my life. My wife and I began attending Cornerstone Covenant Church in 2016 with him as our Pastor. Within a few weeks he prophesied we were going to have a child; we had just had a positive test that morning and hadn’t told anyone yet. God used him to confirm that we were meant to call that our home church. This man has been used to the greatest extent that I have ever seen to build the Kingdom of God. He has given his life to the mission field and I give him honor and God the Glory for his accomplishments on the mission field. I went on my first mission trip to Kenya with him in February 2023 and it changed my outlook on life. The people I met, the struggles I seen and the Love of God I witnessed absolutely changed my life. I encourage everyone to go on at least one trip in their life, and experience what it can do for your own faith in God. Cornerstone Covenant World Missions has a place for you!

I have known Apostle Freddie Stapleton since I was around 13 years old. Throughout the many years I have known him, I have served in the ministry with him. I feel like I know him as well as anybody, I guess, other than his wife Connie. He has been a great friend to me and he is a Great Man of God! He has stood with me when nobody else would. I have been to Haiti, Africa, Israel, and South Sudan with him. I would like to share one mission trip that has always stood out to me, and that is to South Sudan with Apostle Freddie. We seen God move in a great way. One night in one of the meetings we had, I started preaching. One of Apostle Freddie’s fashions is that he always lets others go first, so I went first that night and I began to preach out of Isaiah where it talks about setting the captives free. Apostle Freddie and I have seen many miracles in the United States, the deaf ears open and the blind see. We’ve seen God touch many people in mighty ways, but this time in South Sudan was different. As we moved on into this meeting, Apostle Freddie came to the platform and he hardly said a word, but he asked the people to come to the front and as they started to come forward, there were so many people, about 3,000. There was no way we could lay hands on everyone, but we began to tell people to lay their hand on where they were hurting and, if they hurt all over, to put both their hands on the top of their head. As they did this, we began to pray for them. We started seeing God begin to move. We don’t know all that God did at that meeting, but we know of one miracle that happened. There was a little boy there that was 11 years old. He put his hand over his eyes, we didn’t see him at the time he came up, but when God got done moving, this little boy began to take his hand down and there was a surprise look on his face. The people began to yell out that the little boy had been touched by God. We had to have the interpreter call for his mother to come up. We thought maybe God had just opened his blind eye, but in the process of talking with his mother, we found out this was more than just a blind eye open, but that little boy did not have an eyeball at all. God not only opened his eye, but He also put an eyeball back in his head. I sit here weeping as I am sharing this story, because I’m touched by God and this boy’s miracle. This was just one particular miracle that I witnessed with my own eyes. God truly moved! Also, another thing that happened that night was the man who was assigned to drive and to take care of us stayed that night for the meeting. As we left that meeting that night, we got in the car, and I asked our driver if he had seen God heal the little boy and he said yes. He asked how can I know this Jesus? I said if you stop this car, we will pray for you and that night, we led this man, who was a Muslim, to the Lord. I’m thankful I got to witness this with Apostle Freddie. Our God is great and there’s nothing He can’t do if we just believe in Him. God bless you in Jesus’ name!

For many years, CCWM has provided a wonderful opportunity for church members to experience the work of missions, and to be part of helping meet the spiritual and physical needs of thousands of people around the world. Having witnessed first-hand what CCWM does on the mission field, there is no doubt in my mind that donations go directly towards helping those that it is intended to help, which can’t be said for many organizations. CCWM is a great ministry to support.

As one who has had the privilege of doing missions work in five different countries with CCWM, I can honestly say it has been one of the most impactful and meaningful experiences of my life.  And so many beautiful people from all races and backgrounds that are forever burned in my memories and my heart. I don’t think there are enough words to write what CCWM means to me. There are too many stories and memories to write in this short testimony. What I will say is that when I look at CCWM, I know that the poor, widowed, orphaned, outcast and forgotten are getting real help, and that they have someone that loves them not just in words, but also in deed.  At the core of CCWM is the love of Christ for the whole world and that is what the world needs more today than ever before.

Sam Faulkner

CCCWM has been a great blessing to my life! It is a door that God is using to reach the world through! I have been privileged to minister with them in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the Gambia! Every time I have ministered to the people of God overseas, I have been humbled by their love and hunger for the word of God! The first time I was able to go with CCCWM was to Haiti in 2015! We conducted a youth camp for an entire week and saw many lives impacted for God! I was able to return to Haiti in 2017, along with a brief visit to the Dominican Republic. This was after Hurricane Matthew had destroyed homes and churches in Haiti. The 2017 team built and put a new roof on a church that was in the process of being rebuilt from the Hurricane. In 2019 I was a part of the Gambia mission team. We conducted a Passover week crusade and saw many lives changed forever for the Kingdom of God! There were many lives rededicated and a Muslim family that surrendered their lives to Jesus! It has been an honor to be a small part of what God is doing in the earth today!

When I think about Cornerstone Covenant Missions (CCWM), I think about a lifeline that has been thrown out to me. In my early walk with the Lord, I knew that I wanted to do something with my life for His glory.  I was not sure how I, someone without lots of money, extensive education, or unique talents could make a difference in this world.  Overlooked as a young girl I always said I wanted to be a missionary, that was before I even really knew what that word meant.  Apostle Fred, Sister Connie and other spiritual leaders took the time to pour themselves into my life and that has put me on the path that I am on today.  Although I do not have knowledge in the medical field and I can not draw up a blueprint for a construction job, I have come to realize that the Lord can still use even me.  Realizing what GREAT love the Father has for me makes me want to share HIM (Love) with the entire world. That love, and the compassion that comes with it, is what we really need in order to make a difference in this world that we are living in. That is what missions is all about, being able to spread the Gospel, making disciples for Christ to the ends of the earth and everywhere in between.

CCWM established through the vision given from the Lord to Apostle Fred Stapleton has given me direction not only on how to operate before, during and after a mission, but in my everyday life.  Setting out to treat each day as a mission, a day that is lived out with a purpose.

Ashley Tallent

I cannot express how much CCWM has contributed into my life and helped mold me into the person I am. I was given the opportunity at the young age of 14 to go on my first over seas mission trip with CCWM and I have never been the same since! So thankful God allowed me to be apart of CCWM and the amazing work they do for those near and far.

Emily Hodges

CCWM means so much to me because it is not just overseas missions, but it is local missions too.

I have been on some of the mission trips through this organization, and it has opened my eyes and changed my life. I have seen the deaf hear, people set free, sicknesses be healed, the hungry fed, and much more. I have seen thousands give their heart to God. Apostle Fred, Sis. Connie Stapleton, and many other leaders pour themselves into every mission they do. They work with others and teach them how to be Disciples for Christ. Apostle Fred and Sis. Connie are my parents, and being their daughter, I have witnessed firsthand of the LOVE of GOD they have shown, and how they pour themselves into helping others. They do not do it for recognition, but for the Kingdom of God.

Danielle Boyd

I can remember from a young age around 7 or 8 years old that one day I would grow up to be a missionary! I longed to go and serve to be a part of something amazing. I did not care how hard it would be, I just wanted to GO!! The first time I walked onto the mission field with CCWM I was 17 years old and my life was FOREVER changed. I love the heart of CCWM because that is my heart.

We love to love! I love the teams that are built, and how they become like family. Since becoming a part of CCWM in 2010, I have had the privilege to go and serve in Haiti several times and The Gambia, West Africa. I know that God will open more doors for me to go to even more places along with CCWM.

Anna Trivette

As a pastor of 18 years of a small church in the foothills of NC, I had never thought about my life being changed by God in a foreign country called Zambia, Africa.  CCWM’S head officiant, Fred Stapleton asked me to go with them, and cut loose with the Holy Ghost anointing and told me to go spread the gospel.  I learned a greater love for children and mankind from this mission trip, and now have a desire to build God’s kingdom according to Genesis 2:12-15 – And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.  And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.  And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. which promises children and the expansion of God’s kingdom from the north, south, east, and west. I have been forever changed. Thanks to Jesus Christ!

Brother Tim Stillwell

CCWM means to me that you never meet a stranger. We are all the family of God. There is no one person that means less to God. There is no one group of people who God sees as His favorites. I can honestly say the groups I have traveled with see others through God’s eyes. We are led by example, true servant leadership, and because of that we have seen many miracles take place.
